I’m not ready to wax poetic about Plum Gorgeous yet, but it’s getting close. It’s a beautifully made cookbook and is really right up my alley. See the more in-depth review I wrote for Cooks&Books&Recipes – plus there’s a recipe for an outstanding ricotta-grape-tomato flatbread included.
I’m particularly drawn to sweets with polenta. Cookies, muffins, cake – I love the flavor and the crunch. And these muffins are no exception, although Larry said he could have used more berries. Whatever berries happen to be in season right now will work – I’d love to try them with blueberries. A #20 portion scoop will give you muffins that are just about perfectly sized. The recipe can be found here.
