I was drawn to this easy candy because of the salty sweet aspect – plus I needed something to bring to a party. It’s good, but doesn’t keep very well.
The recipe is a little odd – saltine cracker base, caramel baked on top, and finished off with chocolate and peppermint candies (or any other candy). I used a good-quality chocolate. I think I prefer a bark with nuts or a couple of types of chocolate.
