These are ultra buttery cookies, with just enough flour and sugar in the dough to hold them together. They remind me of pecan sandies – except with walnuts. And not round.
They’re not the most beautiful cookies, but they’re rich and decadent and super easy to make.

Mine didn’t exactly hold their shape,( certainly not like the pic in the book!), but really delicious in any form!
