These cookies have so many things going for them. They’re thick and chewy, and a stuffed full of oats. They don’t contain raisins (an abomination to cookies everywhere), and instead have plenty of chocolate chunks.
The recipe makes a lot of dough – enough for 40 cookies. That’s another positive, depending on how you look at it, and how hungry you are.
We don’t eat a lot of cookies, but these are worthy. Instead of making them all at once, I just froze balls of dough so I can bake up a few whenever we’re in the mood for a treat.
