Another recipe that I’ve already made from Baked: New Frontiers – my notes from last time said that I didn’t like the pastry cream on these cupcakes. I had every intention of making a vanilla buttercream… but then we just kept eating them plain.
These have the flavor of a banana bread, but with a lighter crumb. They’re truly excellent just plain, no pastry cream or frosting needed.
