I finally broke down and stopped making the same European Peasant Bread and decided to make the Artisan Bread in Five master recipe. It turned out beautifully, and I think we may like this loaf even better than the European Peasant Bread.

What??? Better than the European Peasant Bread? Not possible! Ok, I will have to break down and try it too. That sure is a handsome loaf of bread.
I found that we eat the most of this one. It disappears quickly. I love the rye but it’s not as versatile.
