I used lavender from my neighbor’s yard (she grows a ton of culinary lavender, best yard on the block!) and honey from a farmstand here in Sunnyvale (they have hives on site), so the main ingredients in this ice cream are from right here in my city. It’s delicious – great texture, with just a hint of lavender. The honey flavor really shines in this ice cream.
