My weird obsession with making pumpkin baked good continues, despite my distaste for pumpkin. I had a little taste of the cream cheese filling for these whoopie pies, and it’s good. But the soft cakey cookie is a little too soft, a little too wet. The recipe has an obvious mistake – it says it yields 12 pies. I’d say it was more like 24.
