These are nice, hearty chocolate cookies, with oats and cocoa powder and chocolate chips. And they’re vegan to boot. I checked out this book from the library because I’ve got a vegan cupcake book by the same authors, and the recipes are tasty and well-written. A good portion of these cookies will go to our friends Lisa and Mark, who are joining us in Napa this weekend (and happen to be vegan!).
