This comforting stew was exactly what we needed for dinner tonight. Both of us are sick, and while the ginger, chard and garlic in the stew may not actually make us better, it at least makes us feel better. We really liked this stew, and it comes together in about a half hour. But apparently it does not make for good leftovers (the ginger permeates the broth and becomes overpowering).
