I really wanted to like this. I’m not big on any fish that comes in a can or tin, outside of high quality tuna or the smoked trout that Trader Joe’s sometimes sells. But Larry and I both love avocado on toast (especially garlic toast), and I figured it was worth a try. Plus, Alton Brown is pretty reliable when it comes to recipes. Unfortunately, neither one of us liked the sardines. At all. We both scraped them off and just ate the toast with guacamole.
