I don’t know why I haven’t made these cookies sooner. Lots of buzz about them all over the Internet, but for some reason I imagined a cookie with a lot of stuff in it: raisins, m&ms, chocolate chips, coconut. I don’t know where that image came from. These are a slice-and-bake, simple chocolate cookie that has a touch of fleur de sel in the batter, along with delicious chunks of high-quality chocolate instead of chips. They’re really terrific – in fact, as soon as I tried one, I made up another batch.
