Mally and Jay were here for Sunday dinner tonight after a hiatus that lasted several weeks due to schedules. Simple dinner of a Tuscan-style vegetarian stew and spinach salad. I had in my mind that I’d make Meyer lemon mousse but didn’t have the energy to get there.

Me too! It’s part of the reason why I like the special issues.
I found another way to discover older recipes is to pick something to make, then check out the “menu” section of the issue – it’s how I found this salad!
Also, if I use an issue for a recipe, I will usually peruse to see if there’s anything else interesting. Love the older issues.
