We made up a care package this weekend for our friend Lisa, who was home sick. She’s vegan, so I made up that great vegan tomato bisque, made creamy with a bit of cashew cream (a good thing to keep around in the freezer), some lemon poppy seed muffins that had potential but weren’t the best (overbaked), and of course my favorite European peasant bread from Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day. Credit for the cute photo goes to Lisa also, because I completely forgot about taking a picture.
