I never make plain, straightforward sugar cookies. Not that they’re not good – these are really nice, in fact. Kind of hefty, clean flavor and pretty easy to make. As it happens, the only reason I happened to make these is because the recipe was sent to me to test for publication. Easy to make, just mix in a couple of bowls and form into cookies. And everyone that tried one really liked them.
