Funny how just one ingredient can impact a dish. In this case, I made maple gelato again. Exactly the same as the maple walnut (which we didn’t like at all), but instead of a cup of walnuts, I used a cup of chopped gingersnap cookies. It’s fantastic – definitely one of Larry’s favorite flavors. I used Sprouts brand gingersnap cookies, which are surprisingly good.
