This lonely looking little slice of peanut butter pie is supposed to be dressed up with an easy hot fudge sauce, but I never got around to making it. Mainly because we didn’t eat this pie – it was parceled out to friends and neighbors because I don’t like peanuts. Or peanut butter. And Larry doesn’t like peanut desserts. Don’t ask why I made it – I’ve got a weird obsession with peanut butter desserts, maybe I keep hoping I’ll find one I like. This one isn’t bad, It’s got a chocolate cookie crust and the filling is all good stuff – peanut butter, butter, cream, cream cheese, sugar. It doesn’t require any baking because it’s an icebox pie and I imagine it’s a great treat for peanut butter lovers on a hot day. If you’re interested in making it, the recipe can be found here.
