I made this for dinner to indulge Larry’s love for shepherd’s pie (technically cottage pie – shepherd’s pie is made with lamb). However, we were both lukewarm on this. I’m not crazy about shepherd’s pie anyway – too much stuff mixed together, and with sweet potatoes on top I like it even less. Plus the recipe isn’t well-written, so I guess I’ll keep looking for the perfect shepherd’s pie.
