There isn’t anything particularly special about this bread, especially compared to the awesome pumpkin cheddar muffins from last weekend. This is just a plain jane quick bread, with oil and buttermilk instead of butter so it’s relatively moist. Larry ate it warmed with apple butter and it wasn’t bad.
One thing I like about quick breads is that they’re exactly that – quick. They’re easy to make, although I tend to have some trouble with that doughy crater down the center of the loaf.
