Larry requested oatmeal cookies for a staff meeting. He loves oatmeal cookies – especially with dried blueberries instead of raisins. I had high hopes for these (it’s Alton Brown, after all), but they were just okay. I overcooked just about every batch (maybe something to do with the oat flour?). And they weren’t as chewy and substantial as other oatmeal cookies. They did deliver on oat flavor, though – there’s no flour in these, just whole, toasted oats along with a portion of oats that are ground to a flour in the food processor.
