These cookies take a bit of time and patience to decorate, but it’s a fun thing to do with a friend or two. Not only that, but the cookies are delicious. I’d make them again, even if I don’t decorate them.
They’ve got a little bit of heat and smokey undertones from the chipotle, but it’s not overwhelming. And they’re not overly chocolate-y or cinnamon-heavy, either. It’s a nice balance of flavors.
